On the latest episode of the FemCity Podcast, Fecmity Founder + CEO, Violette de Ayala is joined by Royal Nation’s Lauren Hayes. Hear about Lauren’s inspiration, challenges and best advice.

About Our Guest // Lauren Hayes founded Royal Nation in August 2021 with the goal of bringing representation to the narrative around childrenswear.

Her love of fashion started at a young age, as she watched her mother buy menswear and childrenswear for Polo Ralph Lauren and became a fit model, appearing in her first Ralph Lauren print ad at the age of four.

After becoming a mom of two, Lauren realized firsthand the challenges of dressing her young children in clothing that both she and her children felt good about. Discovering the lack of representation in childrenswear, Lauren created Royal Nation to close that gap.

Lauren attended Spelman College and received her MBA from Howard University, and is part of the inaugural collective of brands supported by the Stateless Incubator.
