About Our Guest // Courtney ditched box mixes in pursuit of melt-in-your-mouth, to-die-for flavor combinations, fillings and textures. And she believes cake must be decadent, life-changing and worthy of celebration! She didn’t bake her first cake from scratch until she was 26, when her son turned one.
Courtney holds a bachelor of arts degree from Brigham Young University in broadcast journalism. She’s also the mother of two amazing kids, married to her best friend, and teaches cake classes at Orson Gygi Culinary Arts Center, in Salt Lake City.
